Here in the Southern Hemisphere, we are blessed with the most gorgeous display of Hydrangeas over Christmas. Some people call them “Christmas Roses”
Hydrangeas are best picked early in the morning. The stem tips should be crushed, and the flowers allowed to have a cold bath the entire day. Then arranged in vase. The water should have a teaspoon of bleach. Topping the water, as needed. Done correctly the flowers will slowly fade into dried blooms.
