Yesterday I harvested some sweet potatoes and sweet Basil to make this meal.
Peel and grate sweet potato.
Process handful of sweet Basil, Olive Oil, clove of garlic, pumpkin seeds, nuts of your choice ( I used Brazil nuts) sprinkle of salt and a dash of chili sauce until smooth.
Mix in well with sweet potato.
Enjoy!
Hi Brigid. How do you know when sweet potatoes are ready to be harvested?

Janice once the plats have been in the ground for a reasonable amount of time around 90 to 120 days, you can start feeling around in the soil for tubers. The entire plant does not get harvested and remains in the ground to make more tubers. Make periodic searches for more. *Brigid
